Meet Rexagotchi - a digital pet dinosaur that needs your care and attention to last forever! A social experiment, a fully distributed game that can be played directly on social platforms like Twitter, powered by Solana Actions, visualized as Blinks. Every action in the game originates from a Blink displayed on supported social platforms like Twitter with game state recorded via Rexagotchi Metaplex Core Assets and their associated plugins. Introduction

Rexagotchi likes to hunt, playdate, scavenge, and hang out with other Rexagotchis. Through such actions a Rexagotchi can stay alive by maintaining its health and increase its ability to propel it’s lineage to worldwide recognition.

The goal of Rexagtochi is to have your Rexagotchi lineage “last forever” and achieve as much as possible during its existence. Lasting forever is done by maintaining the health of your Rexagotchi which degrades over time and with a high enough ability score possibly even mating to extend your lineage beyond your current Rexagotchi. Achieving as much as possible is done by gathering ability points and attaining as high an ability score as possible. Having good health and a high ability score allows you to gather ability points more quickly.

How to get a Rexagotchi

1. Follow the official Twitter account @rexagotchi
2. DM us your wallet address on Twitter to hatch your Rexagotchi & receive the associated blink. (Note: We highly recommend using a burner/dedicated wallet to play Rexagotchi for optimal security)
3. Join the Rexagotchi telegram channel to stay up to date and engage with other early beta testers

(Note: All players start with the same basic Rexagotchi upon hatching and a limited number are available per round of hatching)

How to play

<aside> 💡 Rexagotchi is currently in early access. All of season 0 will be played using the Devnet network.

With each Rexagotchi every player will receive 1 SOL on Solana Devnet to play the game. If you need more SOL, reach out in our Telegram community chat or on Twitter via DM.

1. Setup - Check your Rexagotchi is in your wallet under assets. If it is not:

   1. Make sure your wallet is set to Solana Devnet
   2. Make sure you completed all the steps in the previous “How to get a Rexagotchi” section

2. Open your blink - Check your Twitter DMs where you sent us your wallet address for a dial.to link and open it. If you can’t find it or would like to DIY your Rexagotchi blink follow these steps:

   1. Copy the address of your Rexagotchi NFT
   2. Add the address at the end of this link and open it:

3. Play via blink - Play with your Rexagotchi and other Rexagotchis to maintain health and grow ability score by taking actions via blinks on any supported site like dial.to:

   1. Hunt - Hunting feeds your Rexagotchi by catching prey, minimizing hunger and increasing temperature. To hunt go to the blink page and press “Hunt”. Confirm the transaction, it will only use SOL from Devnet (not real SOL). If you run out of SOL on Devnet, reach out!
   2. Playdate - Playing with a Rexagotchi boosts mood and temperature. Post a blink for others to go on playdates with your Rexagotchi or play with your own Rexagotchi for slightly lower mood boosts. To play go to the blink page and press “Play”. Confirm the transaction, it will only use SOL from Devnet (not real SOL). If you run out of SOL on Devnet, reach out!
   3. Scavenge - Scavenging gathers scraps of meat to feed your Rexagotchi half as much as prey from hunting and discovers artifacts like skins that boost your Rexagotchi’s ability. Post a blink for others to scavenge and unlock cool scavenge game modes. To scavenge go to the blink page and press “Scavenge”. Confirm the transaction, it will only use SOL from Devnet (not real SOL). If you run out of SOL on Devnet, reach out!

4. Further gameplay - Keep your Rexagotchi alive for as long in the season as possible (season 0 is expected to last ~3-4 weeks) while growing your ability score. As items are scavenged, actions completed, and your ability grows you may achieve mating, birthing a new egg by playdating with other Rexagotchis, and extending your lineage beyond the current generation. Also share your Rexagotchi blink with friends on Twitter or in your community to boost your number of Rexagotchi interactions and as a result your health + ability score!
